Holy Trinity Anglican Church
Plainville, CT
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:20
Ministries
We at Holy Trinity take our Lord's command in Matthew 10:8 very seriously. As Christians we are called to "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, [and] drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give".
Because of this we are very active in community outreach, including the Plainville Food Pantry, Operation Christmas Child, and missions including the Christian Appalachian Project, RBC Ministries, Trinity School for Ministry, Vision Trust International, World Vision, and ARRIVEinKenya.
Healing Ministry
Jesus still heals today (Hebrews 13:8)! At Holy Trinity we are blessed to see and experience God's healing (physical, emotional and spiritual) on a regular basis. Our healing teams are loving, compassionate and excited at the opportunity to pray for you! They are available for prayer during our Sunday service, Wednesdays and of course at our monthly healing service on the 4th Tuesday of every month (at 7:00 pm). The Healing Service offers praise, teaching, ministry and anointing with the laying-on-of-hands for healing and is open to all. Healing prayer is also available at our Sunday services. You may also request personal healing prayer here or at 860-747-1426. Leave your name and number and we will return your call as soon as possible. Our ministry teams are eager to pray for you and with you. Join us and experience the healing power and love of Jesus Christ.
Praise and Worship
At Holy Trinity we are blessed with an anointed Praise Team who leads us in worship in our Sunday service and also during our monthly healing service. Our praise team is an integral ministry here at Holy Trinity. In the Bible the Greek word most often translated as "worship" means "to kiss". Our worship is an expression of our deep love of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Psalm 22:3 tells us that the Lord inhabits the praises of his people so we have the Lord's promise that our heartfelt praise and worship actually ushers in the presence of the Lord!

Plainville Food Pantry
Jesus' command to his Church to provide for those in need is clear (Matthew 25:40) and to honor and serve him and to demonstrate his love to the community the congregation of Holy Trinity generously contributes both food and finances to the Plainville Food Panty.
Christian Education
At Holy Trinity we have a deep longing and desire to know God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit more intimately and we know that getting to know God through His Word is one very effective way to do so. We encourage all of our parishioners to become involved in our biblically-based Christian education which is available for all ages!
Adult Bible Study is held Wednesday evenings, from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at 18 East Main Street, Plainville, CT. There is no cost or obligation to attend. We are currently studying the Book of Revelation. Join us!
Sunday School for children is available every other week during our Sunday worship.
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is Holy Trinity's annual drive to collect and distribute a variety of items to fill over 100 shoe boxes for children around the world through Samaritan's Purse, a Christian International Relief Ministry.
Operation Christmas Child, the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, uses gift-filled shoe boxes to share God’s love in a tangible way with needy children around the world. Since 1993, Samaritan’s Purse has collected and delivered more than 113 million gift-filled shoe boxes to children in over 150 countries through Operation Christmas Child. Shoe box gifts are collected in the United States, Australia, Austria, Canada, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. More than 500,000 volunteers worldwide, with more than 100,000 of those in the United States, are involved in collecting, shipping, and distributing shoe box gifts.
